Ogunquit PRIDE - 2022 -

Ogunquit Pride kicks off with a flag raising ceremony in Veteran’s Park on Wednesday, June 1st (time TBD) followed by the dedication of Ogunquit's NEW Rainbow Crosswalk. June 1st, festivities will conclude at MaineStreet Ogunquit with a community BBQ.
There will be activities throughout the weekend saluting the legacy of the LGBTQ+ community in Ogunquit. Please read below for more info.

Wednesday, June 1st

5:30pm - Flag raising and crosswalk unveiling, followed by a BBQ at MaineStreet. Governor Janet Mills and Maine’s Speaker of the House, Rep. Ryan Fecteau, will join us for the ceremony.
8pm - Dueling Drag Divas show at MaineStreet.

Thursday, June 2nd
6:30pm - Pride Night at The Cher Show. Reception followed by evening performance. Reception sponsored by Rick Barber/ReMax/Reality One & Village Food Market.
6pm - LGBTQ+ Film Festival: “How Rude!” at the Leavitt Theatre
8pm - Jaye McBride, trans comic at MaineStreet.

Friday, June 3rd
6pm - LGBTQ+ Film Festival: “Priscilla, Queen of the Desert” at the Leavitt Theatre

Saturday, June 4th
3pm - OGTea Dance at MaineStreet.
4pm - Women’s Tea Dance at MaineStreet.
6pm - LGBTQ+ Film Festival: “Birdcage” at the Leavitt Theatre

PRIDE RAFFLE at The Tea Space, June 1 - 15 - Stop by The Tea Space at 254 Main, buy a tin of tea and get entered to win a Pride-themed Radical Tea Towel. Raffle drawing on June 16th.
PRIDE SWAG at Sassy Olive For the month of June, every tote sold we will donate $10.00 to The Frannie Peabody Center. Retail price $22.00.
PRIDE RAFFLE FUNDRAISER - TaleSpinStudio is raffling off a one-of-a-kind Pride Lobster Tail. All proceeds from the raffle will be donated to Frannie Peabody Center & The Ogunquit Pride Committee. Winner of the artwork will be announced on June 1st at the flag raising.
